IAEP Local R2-20
Meet The Executive Board
Alanna Badgley, President
Alanna has served as President of the Local 20 since January 2020 and as a National Executive Board member of NAGE since April 2022. She is a paramedic who has worked at Empress Ambulance Service since 2016, and has been in the field of EMS since 2010. Before working in southern Westchester County, she worked rural EMS in Connecticut and the Hudson Valley as an EMT, with experience in volunteer systems as well as in the ER where she worked as a tech. She is a CLI and loves teaching EMS. In addition to her experience in EMS, she also does a lot of volunteer work in the nonprofit world. Since 2016 she has planned and directed a week-long youth summer camp that teaches about cross-cultural peace building and diplomacy. Beyond all that, she loves hiking, traveling, photography, camping, reading interesting articles, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Robert Lunde, Vice President South Division
Bobby became VP of the South division in February 2023. He has worked with Empress for 7 years but has 25 years of experience in EMS. He started volunteering at age 16 and obtained his EMT certification at 18. Since then he has worked at most agencies in southern Westchester.
As VP, Bobby’s goal is to improve morale and make EMS a career people want to stay in. To do this, Bobby helped develop the Peer Support Group. He wants our members to know they’re not alone and have a peer to speak with in tough times. When he’s not working, Bobby dedicates his time to his family, raising his two sons.

Jennifer McSorley, Vice President North Division
Jennifer has 29 years of experience in EMS, obtaining her EMT certification in 1995 through Putnam County’s EMT program. She pursued her paramedic certification at DCC in 2000. While working in EMS, Jennifer raised two sons, who are both First Responders. Jennifer has maintained status as a paramedic preceptor for DCC and WCC, and has operated as an FTO for EMTs and paramedics. Since joining Empress with the EMStar acquisition, she has been an active Shop Steward with the union. As VP of the North Division, Jennifer is excited to continue serving the union and being a voice for the membership as Empress continues to grow. She easily speaks her mind and is a strong advocate for what is right.
Corrinne Jewell, Vice President West Division
Corrinne has been an EMT with Empress Sullivan, previously Mobilemedic, for 6 years. She has additional experience working as a tech in the ED and CCU settings at Garnet Health Catskill. Despite the hospital experience, she found her passion in EMS and is currently expanding her education as a paramedic student at Dutchess Community College. Corrinne has watched the small agency in Sullivan County go through rapid changes most recently with the Empress acquisition. As VP of the West Division, she understands the importance of being the voice of many while keeping an open line of communication for current and new employees. One of Corrinne’s goals as VP is to work with others on how we can make our company a more desirable place to be, by encouraging employee retention, community involvement, and educating the public on what we do as EMS providers. Corrinne welcomes ideas and concerns from the membership. She believes as a union it is important to have unified standards, and as VP she makes it a priority to find common ground that benefits us all.
