Dear Union Members: 

Please see the follow information regarding Union Board Elections. Elections open 8/18/2025 and close 0900 on 8/25/25.

Please note, to be considered for one of the Vice President positions, the nominee/officer will need to work at least 51% of their shifts in the region that they are representing at the time that they are serving. The current board was authorized by the membership to adjust the divisions, the following was the decision.

 

• Vice President South will remain the same and cover the Bronx, Rockland, and Westchester counties. 

• Vice President West will expand its territory and will now cover Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties. 

• Vice President North will consolidate its territory and include Dutchess and Putnam counties. 

 

The tentative election schedule is as follows:

• Monday, July 7 - Nominations Open and members can begin nominating themselves or others to run for positions. 

• Monday, July 21 - Nominations Close at 1700 and candidates will be announced by the elections chair the following day

• Monday, July 28 - Candidate statements to the membership were due. 

• Monday, August 18 - Election Opens for voting for all members in good standing. Members will receive a link to vote.

• Monday, August 25 - Elections close at 1700 and results will be announced by the elections chair the following day

• Monday, September 1 - New officers will be officially installed, replacing the current officers
